Finance Council
The First Unitarian Society of Denver Finance Council consists of 7 members. They include the
- President of the Board of Trustees
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
- an additional member of the Board and
- 3 members elected at the FUSD annual meeting.
Terms of the 3 elected members are for three years and are staggered. A chair is elected from among the 3 elected members. Sub-committees and additional volunteers may be selected for council duties.
The duties include:
- Provision of monthly financial statements
- Supervision of the Pledge Campaign
- Drafting the preliminary operating budget for the following year in conjunction with other committees
- Managing the investments and endowments of the society
- Overseeing other finance and fund raising issues
- Issuing periodic recommendations and reports to the Board of Trustees
- Presenting an annual report to the Society
