Music Committee
The Music Committee works to enhance the experience of music in worship services and in the spiritual lives of members and friends of FUSD. Members of the Music Committee are committed to supporting and enhancing the FUSD Music Program through:
- Advocating for the Music staff (Choir Director and Staff Musician)
- Regular review of the expectations of Music staff

Lia Davis - Assisting with plans for holiday music and other special events
- Supporting the worship service through understanding of the role of music in worship
- Planning and implementing three or more concerts yearly
- Making decisions about use of income from concerts
- Reviewing the financial needs of the Music Program and advocating for required funding
- Participating in Program Council meetings
- Recruiting volunteers to assist with the tasks of maintaining the music program
The Music Committee meets monthly to address three or more of the listed areas of work.
Membership is open to anyone interested in the music program whether or not that person sings in the choir or plays a musical instrument.
